I have been practicing this thing on my own called metronome therapy. Basically what it entails is reading out loud to a metronome one syllable per beat, on the beat. I like to set it to around 100 beats per minute. Us stutterers have a weak internal timing circuit in our brains, but we do have a healthy external timing circuit, hence why we don’t usually stutter when talking in unison with other people. I heard from another person on here that reading out loud to a metronome everyday helps strengthen our weakened internal timing circuits in our brains over time and can reduce our disfluencies/blocks over time. And unlike seeing a speech therapist which is so much money out of pocket, you can just download a metronome app off the AppStore for free. Hope this helps
