Everyone's stutter is different. In my case, I realize I stutter due to lack of breath and trying to force words out. My attempt of "resolving" this is to be more aware to "catch" the moment of stuttering, take a deep breath through my nose and then say the words as I breathe out. I'm trying not to keep forcing the words out because that just makes my stutter worse... Also, from personal experience, I would try to avoid relying on writing on a piece of paper instead of speaking. You don't want to become too dependant on that "escape technique" to get your point across. I'm learning this the hard way but don't let the fear of stuttering control your life! I would suggest to proactively improve your speech and of hoping the stutter goes away over time (what I did).
