For reference, most people who stutter struggle with their names due to the nature of stuttering. So, you struggle w A *because* it’s your name letter. The same holds true for other words that are not really replaceable - city/towns, street, phone number, school, job title/company. For reference, I never had trouble saying my pets names, until I had to take them to the vet, where I had to say their real name, to another person.
