There are other good coaches. William D Parry doesn't seem to be too popular but his scientific approach to stuttering made me develop a much more healthy relation to my stuttering. Now I don't view it as my fault, I don't blame myself for stuttering and I don't project judges' role on to my listeners. It is an inconvenience for sure and only we ourselves can work on solving it, but if you get overwhelmed by fear no progress is possible. Face your stuttering, observe and study it, try predicting it and then apply any of the well known techniques to counter it. My baseline is always calming myself with deep breathing, never struggle or push on a block but release immediately, make myself speak slowly, inflect on words more so that speech becomes more rythmic. It feels weird at first but hella better than blocking. Tell your listener you have a stutter and this is how you are working on getting rid of it. People will admire you for it.
