My workaround is finding a string of words that help you lead into your name. In the past, just saying my name "Chavito" and that's it would guarantee a block. But if I starting my sentence with "Hi my name is..", I could get my name out. Just experiment and see what works for you. But I would definitely say that blocking on your name has a lot of pressure tied to it and I totally understand that. I would practice saying my name whenever I got a free moment so I can be ready for social interactions.
