Not surprising that speech therapists do not help stuttering since stuttering is a neurological disorder. Also not surprising that this is the first time you have heard about speech devices. Unfortunately the speech establishment does not encourage these devices even though they are a tremendous break through. The speech establishment wants you to use their useless therapy which only helps them but not you. Best of luck and I hope you will succeed.
