USA I believe stuttering is known, but it's rarely encountered which leads to the surprised reactions we may get. Generally though, most adults don't care much if you stutter or not. I go through the work day the same regardless if I have a bad stuttering day or not. Work is work, and it stays there when I clock out for the day.
