B Complex (B12??) Significantly Reduced My Speech Issues! Just wanted to share. I'm a 30 yo woman native English speaker. I've had speech challenges since childhood (eg, getting tongue-tied, word finding, slurred speech, randomly omitting syllables, mispronouncing, stringing words together in disjointed ways). I never thought to do anything about it, partly due to getting used to it, embarrassment from having to bring it up out loud, and not even really knowing where to start looking for help. But a few years ago, after having other health issues (eg, severe anemia, chronic fatigue, mood) without any sustained remedy, a doctor recommended I take B vitamins/complex even though my blood tests didn't indicate deficiencies. B complex helped my issues a little so I kept taking it for about 1 year. **But what was most fascinating was what happened when I got off B complex.** After about 6 months, I stopped taking B complex since I wasn't sure it was truly helping health issues.
