I feel for you. Don’t forget that you are the caregiver and having that applecart upturned is traumatic for you and for your niece. Even though you’re used to helping, this challenged you and her! Thank God she’s safe with you. She’s right where she needs to be. Your stutter, like many of ours, gets in the way when we least want it to. And still, and yet, and even so, even though it feels shitty, your niece is safe because of YOU! Keep it up!
