did the same thing with my girlfriend for years. last month i honestly just came clean with everything and it felt like a weight lifted off my shoulders. i told her about how i stutter on my name when asked, about the blocks i have, about how i’ve had it since i was a kid, etc etc. it just made things easier now and she obviously still loves me and was super supportive when i told her everything. please don’t feel ashamed.
