I’m an analyst, started my career on the sell side. Decided pretty soon that no matter how good i was i wouldnt be able to sell much because people didnt take me seriously. Plus i dreaded calls with foreign clients because English is not my first language. Shifted to buy side and I’m quite happy and making decent money. But i hope you really crack it as an advisor. You sound like you’re passionate about helping clients and if you do manage to bag a few big clients i guess they’ll have to promote you. So stick to it, Im sure you’ll do great!
