Are you in the United States? There's speech program in the United states that promises high rates fluency after the program. If you have the money and time then I suggest you make the trip. The program is called Hollins Institute at stuttering.org You mentioned that you don't think your stutter will get better with age. But I disagree. For two reasons. Yes the brain is mostly developed by the age of 25. That's based on data before technology became common place in our lives. Now it's more like 30 at best. And if you have ADHD it can especially take longer. Another reason is why it gets better is if you continue to look for new and better speech therapy programs out there. We live in an era where the research on stuttering is growing. Speech therapy is constantly evolving. We've learned more about the condition within the last 20 years than we have in last 1000 years. So I expect more effective speech therapy tools / speech programs will be more common place. I mean they already are appearing in countries like Germany, Canada and States. In my country of Canada, the Speech Institute in Toronto has such programs which has some renown.
