Sorry if this is a strange question, but are you able to be in control 100% of the time? As in, do you never stutter anymore? I’m asking because I myself am 90-95% better now compared to when I was younger, but as I no longer work in the corporate world, I have a lot less pressure in my life and fewer situations where I stutter in my daily life. I don’t use any special techniques asides from occasionally choosing a different choice of words. I’m wondering, though, if it is possible to reach 100% fluency (and start a new side job as a stand up comedian. ;-) I really feel that for me the “habit of stuttering” has been greatly reduced during the last 10 years of my life, and that perhaps with a little bit of improved breathing technique (lifelong shallow mouth breather) and a little bit more confidence that perhaps 100% fluency is achievable. Looking for some inspiration! I once had a speech therapist tell me that it’s impossible to completely cure stuttering, and I guess a part of me wants to prove her wrong. But she might be right...
