Research Opportunity Hi Everyone One of our current master's students at Michigan State University is exploring the relationship between stuttering impact (the negative reactions and limitations a person who stutters has), stuttering stigma (the negative feelings, attitudes, pressures, and limitations imposed by others), and more general public perception of stuttering. Different societies stigmatize stuttering to different degrees, so it's probable that people in different parts of the world are more likely to be more negatively impacted by stuttering if their environments are less accepting of it.
