Stuttering is part of what makes me a unique individual. My stuttering has attracted romantic partners, has contributed to career success and sets me apart from the others. I've lived in a few different countries, continue to be very successful in different ways and people compliment me on my communication skills. Stuttering has also taught me empathy, compassion and has spurred me on develop self-confidence. Stuttering has also helped me spot terrible people that I want nothing to do with. If a stuttering 'cure' was found tomorrow, I'd probably not take it as stuttering is as part of me as the colour of my eyes or my fingerprint.
