I really felt this. I have been there, too, and there doesn't seem to be a light at the end of the tunnel sometimes. There isn't anything I can say that will make you feel better. But I will say that you can be successful regardless. I have a very good job that I worked my ass off for and I can't say my name, either. I didn't get my job by being popular or even likeable. I got it because I made sure that I was one of the best. I still have really hard days and extremely embarrassing moments. But I take solace in the fact that I am skilled in my profession, I'm a great writer, and I really couldn't care less what people think; especially if they laugh at me. If they apologize, however, I am quick to forgive and start over with them. At the end of the day, all that matters is what you see in the mirror.
