But he does say that he thinks speaking isn’t supposed to be a conscious process. Dogs don’t speak, they don’t form sentences in their minds to speak, because they don’t have the cognitive ability to. They bark to indicate they want something, in the same way a 2 year old cries to get something or babbles. Speaking is an entirely different process which needs thought. He can’t compare himself to a dog when it’s not what a dog is doing, and certainly not to the level he’s doing it 😊
