First of all, never apologize. You are AWESOME!! Second, I had a severe fear if the phone until one day I bought a phone off of ebay. Every single day for months, I would pretend to make and receive phone calls. I did this for over 6 months until it BECAME BORING. At that point, I was at work and when the phone rang or when I had to make a phone call, I just picked up the receiver and did it. I reprogrammed my brain 🧠 and I used to think that practice makes perfect but it doesn't, practice makes PERMANENT. Now, at the age of 50, I don't really focus on my stutter. I focus on being present and that has been a game changer for me. Lastly, I embraced my stutter at age 40 and I learned that its ok if I Stutter. I'm still Pedro, I'm still awesome and I still love myself. Furthermore, just know that you have such strength within you that you have no idea that you have. People who stutter are so creative, resourceful, resilient and intelligent. If you ever feel that you are alone in this......you're not.....I am in your corner cheering you on.
