There's a growing movement of stutterers accepting their stutter and not trying to hide it. It involves acceptance and faith in your ability to communicate despite your stutter. Practice eye contact while speaking/stuttering, and stutter proudly. I know it's easier said than done, especially if you're a professional "hide your stutter from the world" like I was/am. I'm still working on it. It's hard but working towards accepting my stutter has reduced the shame and insecurity I feel.
