It all about the mindset. The more you try to hide your stutter, the more pressure will build up while you're speaking. It's better to let yourself stutter (while also speaking slowly and loudly). YOU are important, and what you have to say is important. So take your time, and space to express what you want to. If someone wants to cut you off, it's their problem. DO NOT let that bother you, and don't apologize or be embarrassed by it. In my case, I'm much more relaxed around people that already know that I stutter. One thing I do is NOT to come under time pressure - the more pressure I feel, the sloooooower I go. Trust me, most people don't mind if you speak slow (or stutter), and most people appreciate that you're confident despite the stutter.
