I left my friends at the bar and went home. I was sat at the table, everyone was around me talking and laughing, I've known my friends for years but I really felt like an outsider. When I did try to talk, some of them talked over me. In the end I just wasn't feeling it, I quickly said my goodbyes and left. It probably wasn't the right thing to do, I haven't said why I left, because how are they going to understand?
