This guy just made my night Just wanted to share a story because it really made my night. I was playing pool with a buddy at a bar and I was wearing a college shirt. A stranger comes up and tells me that he's an alum of my school and he asks what I'm studying. Of course, questions like this always trigger my stutter. I start saying "I'm studying b---....I'm studying ---.... I, I, I, I...." It was a very emotionally painful situation and I expected the guy to look at me funny and ask "you ok?" But this guy was different. He looked me straight in the eye and said "It's okay buddy, take your time." No one has ever said that to me before. After a few more tries I finally push out "I'm studying b-b-business" and we proceed to talk a little bit about the school's sports. If those not familiar with stuttering need an case example of how to help relieve stress of stutterers, look no further than this guy. I almost teared up after he said that because I was so grateful. Even in this world of division there are some really good people out there.
