Sry to comment twice but I am tone policed day long by people who give me tone and I finally told them the other day when 3 people were condescending to me about something that could have been a convo I had to say "hey guys I'm here trying to talk to you about this, I'm not here to fight so what is the tone about?" Frankly I don't think I would speak at all if I didn't have a bull in a china shop thing going on from time to time. No SLP has worked for me and the only thing that kept me from clamming up was just being boisterous. I come from a family who yells non urgent things across the house. Sometimes I forget no everyone is that way and I would likely get some of this flack if I was fluent too lol
