I think talking about stuttering, self-disclosing, whatever you call it takes time. It should be hard at first but it should get easier and easier as time goes. I know that's cliche, but it's how it helped me. I hated self-disclosing for months/years. And, still today there are situations where it's still hard. But, those are finally the minority.
