i try to let them know and be upfront right off the bat bc i hate the confused looks on peoples faces tbh. if i met them through a dating app or smth i bring it up in the texts before the first date but otherwise i mention it on the first date. times where i haven’t brought it up they end up asking what’s going on anyway and that’s just plain awkward sometimes lmao
