>I just keep thinking that they all think I’m some loser or some idiot, when I’m not and I just have a stutter. No one around you is having those thoughts. Just you. We've all felt it. As a stutterer, it's a common "wrong-think" we do. It's one of the really insidious and sh\*tty things about stuttering. The self-recrimination for having a disability. Be kind to yourself. It's a heavy enough burden without piling more on top of it. Seriously, the next time you start "wrong-thinking" about your stutter, shut those thoughts down. I like to take inspiration from better minds than mine. Next time you need to treat yourself better, maybe this will help. “Hello babies. Welcome to Earth. It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It's round and wet and crowded. On the outside, babies, you've got a hundred years here. There's only one rule that I know of, babies-"God damn it, you've got to be kind.” - Kurt Vonnegut
