I was more or less able to manage and significantly reduce my stuttering in my native language (English) but when I started to learn Danish it was like I was 7 all over again and honestly, I just had to put in a lot and lot of practice and time, which learning a language already requires. The hard part for me was when I would speak Danish to others and I would pause, feeling a block or stutter coming, they would think I didn't know the word and switch to English because I had an accent. But don't let that stop you from learning a language. It takes practice, patience, and perseverance. Stuttering just adds more to your load but just know it CAN be done. Even simply reading in another language is a lot of fun. I love to read and reading Danish books in their original language brings me a lot of joy.
