College advisor basically told me to pick another career path because of my stutter

College advisor basically told me to pick another career path because of my stutter So, I am planning on enrolling to a community college this fall, and I just got off a zoom meeting with an advisor. Basically she told me that to be an RN I needed good communication skills and that maybe I should consider another career route because of my impediment. That was very defeating and actually left me thinking maybe I wouldn't be a good RN because of my speech.
