I'm a financial software consultant, previously spent 15 years in accounting/finance. I'm on the phone daily with external clients. WFH has helped me tremendously, but the thing that helps the most is they are talking to me because I'm the expert, If I am confident in what I'm talking about, my stutter is so much easier to cover. I honestly never thought in a thousand years I'd be supporting clients in any way, but this is actually really great for me. I've also taught myself some pretty solid masking techniques. Almost everyone I work with have no clue that I stutter. The masking can be exhausting.
