We can talk about tendencies, but we can also talk about other tendencies that point in other directions. It's more of a _choice_ than this idea of "human nature" would lead us to believe. We're dynamical, we're not static - as in, we're able to mold our own behavior. Oh and for the record, I listen to plenty of death metal. ;)
