Go right ahead, I encourage it. I used to have a Youtube channel. Got about half a thousand subscribers before I decided I lost the desire to make videos. Sometimes I'd bother to edit, and sometimes I wouldn't. I have no idea what your channel plans are, but don't make the cardinal sin of making personal youtube videos: Don't be boring. Not saying you are, but there's a million and one channels of someone talking to the camera in an entirely uninteresting fashion, and unsurprisingly get about 3 views ever. Good luck to you!
