I was talking about Hollins. My bad. Rushed a bit there. I liked Dr. Christian. He mentioned the cerebellum in spontaneous recovery of stuttering though, not in regard to the fluency shaping program. Most of what he said I agreed with as it's common knowledge, but he made a very interesting connection I hadn't known to change in the orbitofrontal cortex in people who spontaneously recover from stuttering. OFC is not directly linked to visual processing, but visual information is sent there for sensory integration that contributes to complex behaviors. That might shed some light in my suspicion of there being a connection between vision and stuttering, so will look into it. My mother taught me the basics, then I started English lessons in a class of grownups in 4th grade and outperformed them all. I was proficient enough in English to correct my English teacher by 5th grade. What do you think, dude? Am I using google translate? 😂
