it's not like everyone would have a good attitude towards you even if you didn't stutter, you know. Would you instantly write off someone with a stutter or a lisp or some other speech impediment as being an annoying dumbass who isn't worth talking to? I hope not, and neither do a lot of other people. You don't have to be a really talkative person, but it's healthy to know that you can, and are able to, talk to people about normal topics without stuttering constantly being at the forefront of your mind.
