"I'm sorry, I think the phone is breaking up"

"I'm sorry, I think the phone is breaking up" I've had this happen to me so many times when I'm on the phone (including five minutes ago when I was trying to make a haircut appointment), and I mean my stutter is pretty severe so it's understandable but it doesn't make it any less annoying. Does anyone else get this on a regular basis? Do you use it as an opportunity to advertise your stutter or do you just play along with it?
