That’s a good advice, thank you. I find that people in medical fields also seem to not understand stuttering, sometimes not even recognize it and just write it off as being nervous. It happened a lot with my professors on exams, they simply think I’m afraid of them. Also, more than fearing what patients will think, I think about what my colleagues will think of me. In a way I still fear being seen as less intelligent because of this little thing. And I stutter so rarely almost no one knows, but I feel like they would still laugh at me and talk behind my back. Has anything like that happen in your career?
