ah, i don’t use any of my characters for comedy due to the way they talk/look/think/etc. they’re all there for a reason, and they have their own personalities beyond *what* they have/are. as a writer, i have the power now to create diversity that is lacking in every other book. i would like to see my readers feel as though they are being rightfully represented and no longer ostracized.
