I think you should continue, as it is all about stepping out of your comfort zone. Few weeks is a very short time to come to the conclusion, usually it takes min few months to see results. It's not about our personal preferences and what we like and comfortable with, it's about what should be done. I'm stuttering since I was 3 and now at 26, I am fluent to the point that I am conducting panel discussions, and went to a SLP for good 4 years. Please persist with your therapy, it takes a lot out or you, but it's worth it.
