So yeah, you have described my whole life existence as well. I can tell you I am happily married with kids. The kids have all stuttered here and there as well. It hurts me. However, life is a strange one. Some days are day by day, and some stretch into the week by week, or month to month. Mostly is day by day for me. I take the small victories and make sure to allow myself to celebrate. I tend to focus on what others need instead of my own. School/work has never been easy. It's always awkward, and now that I am older I most definitely blame it on public schooling or the manager(s) on duty. Some of it is our own fault maybe..... But when the teacher/boss do NOT understand stutterers, I noticed that they tend to let the circus go on if you know what I mean. People with family/friends with other disabilities don't allow for the circus of idiots to mess with us. To me, it all depends on awareness. Most People don't meet Stuttering people their whole lives, until they do, then they simply don't understand the tics, eye movements, lip/mouth, stammer, etc that happens when we speak. Freaking HANG on to yourself. Find a hobby. I know that sounds cliché but it just might turn into your superpower life changing event that opens a huge door for you. Whether it be financially so you can do you and not worry about anyone else making fun of you, or simply the Zen you need to stay grounded. Best to you. I've been there a million times and I fully mean that in a positive way.
