Similar to you. I feel like it’s almost backhanded, and it makes me feel like there’s something seriously wrong with me when there isn’t, and that I’m like a child. I get that it’s made with good intentions, but I still deserve respect when I stutter frequently, and I’m most likely not “improving”, I’m being more covert in order to be taken seriously.
