Yeah! All the time! I work in retail and part of my job is customer service, and there is no shortage of completely disrespectful people, that will not even hesitate to mock any difference another person has, but I’ve been a stutterer for almost 21 years and I have learned that anyone that makes fun of a stutter or any difference for the matter are quite literally sub par people that you shouldn’t waste your time with. For the longest I hated my stutter and despised myself for it, but I’ve grown to love it and all the stutterers I know (none irl) we are different and it makes it really easy to find REAL people in complete strangers from one conversation. (Sorry for the tangent all)
