Does your uni offer speech therapy or even counseling? For me, counseling really helped with my stutter in college, it made my stutter better because I had someone I could talk to freely without judgement. I would honestly tell your flat mates about your stutter as you introduce yourself, the uni adjustment is hard but I know you can do it!
