1. Most of the time yes, I can talk to myself without stuttering, but it does happen sometimes. Like 100x less than when I speak to other people though. 2. I've noticed that people telling me "omg you haven't stuttered once throughout the conversation" or "is your stutter getting better? You haven't stuttered at all" make the stutter worse, lol. When someone else reminds me of it I immediately start trying my hardest to keep it hidden, but what happens is the complete opposite. So yeah, I guess it does make it worse but more so when OTHER people aware of it; because I myself am aware at all times when talking since I try to keep it as controlled as possible. 3. Yeah, usually you can feel it like in your throat and/or face muscles. You just KNOW you're gonna stutter when you say it, and God it's so anxiety inducing. 4. Hmm, I don't really know tbh. It's pretty random, some days I barely stutter, some others I can't get 3 consecutive words out without a block, no matter if the day was good or bad. I guess singing makes it a little better but it doesn't make it dissappear completely, as well as gulping/using umm/uhh before delivering a word I know I'm gonna stutter on. It's weird because I can't even say that anxiety makes it worse, bc I typically stutter less under pressure (like during presentations and stuff) and stutter the most when talking to people I'm close to- Although I think anger does make it a little worse. When I'm arguing it's so much more harder to keep it in check.
