My physics professor in high school stuttered a good amount, and we all loved him! He was an awesome teacher! He was very passionate about physics and us students took interest in what he would say because his excitement rubbed off on us! And the people laughing at your stutter may just be because they just don’t see it as that serious of a thing, like you do. Them laughing may actually be a good thing. It’s better than being pitied, right? Or they’re just trying to make light of the situation to make you feel more comfortable.
