I met my girlfriend’s family last year, went to thanksgiving at their cabin and it was a whole weekend of socializing, well me trying to socialize with them and them thinking I am quiet and weird. Oh you should have seen the first time and subsequent years after meeting my ex wife’s family. I would attend all these family gatherings and it took a few years before anyone would speak to me lol. I would literally sit there in silence for the entire day and night for a few days at Christmas. It was terrible.
