First day of high school was one of my most embarrassing stutters ever. It was one of those days where you spend like 20 minutes in each room just to get your seat and meet the teacher. We did a short quiz in social studies and the teacher was asking questions. She asked what the latitude of the equator was (hope I got that right now) and I knew it was zero. For some reason I must have given her a look like I was eager to impress her. She called on me and I made a sound I can only compare to a musical instrument. zzzzZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzZZzZzZZzzzZZzzzEEEEEEEEEEEE-ro. Everyone turned immediately and my friend from elementary school behind me started laughing. The whole goal was not to let people know I stuttered and I blew it one day 1! Anyway, that's life.
