Try talking slower as a family. There are actually two different sorts of stuttering one of which is called developmental stuttering. Most every child has it at some time around when they're trying to form new and full sentences. This is completely normal and he will most likely grow out of it (trust me I know how frustrating that sound). Encouraging him and the family to speak slower will give him more time to form the sentence so that he doesnt trip when he says it.
