One of the biggest things that has helped me is preparation. Go through your script over and over again until you are comfortable with every word. Edit it each time you read where you have a block to a new easier phrase until you can read the entire script comfortably with little to no blocks. This will make your script easier to read, but more importantly it will give you multiple variations for the parts of the script that you have troubles with. I find this helpful because I can usually read it perfectly on my own because there is no pressure, but once It’s time to actually present and the nerves kick in, the blocks are unpredictable as you probably know from your past presentations. With the multiple variations of the script for parts that have caused you issues, you will now have a different sentence to confidently resort to if you do encounter a word that you know you are not going to be able to say. Another tip that others in this sub may not agree with that I have found to help me a lot during stressful presentations is to take a shot or 2 of alcohol before it is your turn to present. I personally find that it almost completely gets rid of my social anxiety which is the main factor that causes my stutter. This obviously depends on your tolerance to alcohol as you don’t want it to slur your speech or cause you to forget some of your lines, but if you have a tolerance built up and can easily handle one shot or 2, I would recommend giving it a try!
