A simple “oh cool” or something similar is fine. If he mentioned it he just wants you to be aware so you aren’t surprised. Just let him be his self. A tip from a fellow stutterer would be, look him in the eye even if he stutters. It may be awkward for you. Don’t interrupt or talk over him. We’re normal people. We just need a minute.
