Im pretty sure all of our lives would be better if we didn't have a stutter. More friends, more opportunities, etc. If I didn't have sports in high school, I dont know how I would have made it all 4 years. Sports allowed me to connect with everyone in a way that wasn't verbal. Since I was decently good at my respective sport, it did most of the talking for me. It also gave me practice speaking, something I really didn't think about till now. At the end of the day, there's not much you can do but practice speaking every day and not think about what life would be like. These are the cards I was dealt. It may not be a good hand, but it's not the worst hand that could have been dealt. So keep working at it and keep practicing. Edit: this is coming from someone who's fluency has doubled in the past 8 years since highschool. Keep practicing.
