Some things that helped me is to control my breathing. Slow your heart rate down and relax. Find a rhythm in your reading or speech. Take your time with the sounds. If a sound isn't coming then you can try to start a word with an H sound \(I think it's called easy onset?\). Slowly exhaling out of your mouth with the H sound and then jumping into your word. You can also try light tongue contact. Pretend you're saying cat; start saying the ca sound in a whisper and gradually raise your voice until you can start the word. I would recommend going to a speak pathologist. Ask your parents if you can see a professional. Seeing a specialist is how I learned a few tricks and techniques to give me confidence in the world. I am not a perfect speaker and I still stammer on occasion, but my attitude has changed for the better and I consider myself a successful stutterer because of it.
